WISCO KIDZ PLACE SUMMER CAMP

First off, thank you for choosing Wisco Kidz Place for your child’s summer care! We are thrilled to have your kiddo join us for what promises to be an unforgettable summer filled with fun, learning, and adventure.

Before we kick off the excitement, we want to ensure you’re fully informed and prepared. Below are the key details and reminders to help your family start the summer smoothly.

Payment Details:

A credit card is required to be kept on file. Your card will be charged each Sunday for the upcoming week(s) your child is attending. If a payment does not go through, we’ll notify you by email and phone. Please address any issues promptly to ensure your child doesn’t miss any activities. Campers cannot attend without a successfully processed payment.

Meet the Team:

Our main teachers this summer are Ms. Jessica Hahn (Younger Group) and Ms. Shannon Schmelzer (Older Group). Additional staff includes Jonna Washington, Sheryl Scott (Owner), Austin Scott, and Katy Fiess — all here to support and guide your child throughout the day.

Drop-Off & Pick-Up Times:

Drop-off runs from 7:30 AM to 9:00 AM. Early drop-off may be arranged if needed, but we ask all children to arrive by 9:00 AM to avoid delays with field trips and scheduled activities. Pick-up is between 3:00 PM and 5:30 PM. A five-minute grace period is allowed, after which a $15 late fee will apply every 10 minutes. Consistent lateness may result in additional charges. If you’re running late, please call us at 608-292-2917 or text 608-445-5325 (owner’s cell).

Meals & Snacks:

We provide morning and afternoon snacks each day. Lunch is not included in tuition, but if Wisco Kidz Place provides lunch, it will be billed separately at $7 per meal. We encourage all children to bring their own lunch. Drinks are included with tuition.

What to Bring:

Please send the following labeled items with your child: new bottles of sunscreen and bug spray, a swimsuit, towel, and a full extra outfit (shorts, shirt, underwear, sweatshirt/hoodie) to be kept on site — we will wash these weekly. If needed, include floatation devices. We provide water bottles to minimize mix-ups.

Field Trips:

All field trips are included in tuition at no additional cost. On trampoline park days (such as Urban Air or Sky Zone), please send grip socks or $5 cash to purchase them on site. Some destinations require signed waivers — without them, your child may not be able to participate. Reminder texts will be sent weekly for any required waivers or updates.

Transportation & Safety:

We use a 14-passenger van and an SUV for field trips, both driven by staff over the age of 30 with clean driving records. Vehicles are fully insured, and we have booster and car seats available for our smaller campers.

Staff Ratios:

We exceed the state’s requirements with staff ratios of 1 adult per 4 children in the younger group and 1 adult per 6 children in the older group, ensuring quality supervision and safety.

Daily Schedule & Expectations:

Children will spend 60–75% of each day engaged in active play and structured learning. Main teachers are on-site from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with trained aides supervising during morning and evening hours.

Activities & Behavior:

Expect frequent field trips, including visits to playgrounds across Madison and the surrounding area. If any conflicts arise between children, our team will support them in resolving issues respectfully. For children with cognitive or behavioral needs, we communicate closely with families to create a positive, inclusive experience.
